Dana Reddy, MD.
Dana Reddy, MD is an experienced Rheumatologist who has lived most of her life in Southern California. She provides specialized care to patients with inflammatory arthritis, vasculitis, and other autoimmune/autoinflammatory diseases. She attended University of California, Santa Barbara where she graduated with Honors with a degree in Biology. She then went across the continental US to earn her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. She wanted to return to her hometown and completed Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship training at Scripps Clinic/Green Hospital in San Diego, CA. She has remained a member of the American College of Rheumatology since starting fellowship.
Before starting a family, she was in private practice 5 miles from the US-Mexico border and learned Spanish while working there for 5 years. She continues to hold a staff position at two of the community clinics in the area serving under/uninsured populations. She also holds a teaching position for Scripps Chula Vista Family Medicine Residency and gives lectures on Rheumatology to family medicine physicians in the area. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Reddy has been utilizing telemedicine and loves the prospect of being able to help patients who have difficulty traveling to her. She has a special interest in reproductive medicine as it relates to Rheumatology as well as the more rare autoinflammatory/autoimmune diseases.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, running, spending time outdoors, and watching stand up comedy. She looks forward to meeting you and helping in whatever way she can.
