Kara Hartl, MD

Dr. Kara has always believed in excellence, especially in medicine. Trained at Harvard University, UCSD, and the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, her education was exceptional and reinforced the notion that we should always practice exceptional medicine. The medical center she founded in Alaska was exactly that and is raising the bar of medicine in rural Alaska. She is now dedicated to bringing this exceptional standard to the rest of rural America. She is starting by creating a novel and exceptional model of telehealth for rural communities.

Ann Igoe, MD

Dr. Ann Igoe was born in Dublin, Ireland, and graduated from the University of Pécs Medical School in Hungary. She completed her residency in Rheumatology at Metrohealth in Cleveland, Ohio, where she has practiced for the last six years. She recently moved to Arizona with her husband and children.

Dr. Igoe treats all adult rheumatological conditions including rheumatoid arthritis (RA), lupus, osteoarthritis (OA), Sjogren’s Syndrome, and gout, among many others.

William Lasswell, MD

Dr. Lasswell was born in Florida, and attended Florida State University as an undergraduate where he received a BS in Chemistry. After completing a doctoral program in Natural Products Chemistry at the University of Mississippi, he taught as an assistant professor in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Rhode Island. He entered medical school at Brown University on an Army scholarship and, after finishing his MD training, entered postgraduate medical training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center where he completed internship and residency programs in general internal medicine and a fellowship program in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism.

Dr. Lasswell sees all endocrine related issues, including Type I and Type II diabetes, thyroid disorders, pregnancy-related endocrine issues and hormone imbalances.

Megan Fankhauser, MD

With over eight years of dedicated experience in neurology, Dr. Megan Fankhauser is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to patients with a wide range of neurological conditions.
Dr. Fankhauser was born and raised in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. She completed undergraduate and medical school in the Midwest and her Neurology residency at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ.
Following residency, Dr. Fankhauser was in private practice in the Houston, TX area for several years before she and her family moved back to the Arizona desert they love. She is married with two young children and an adorable English bulldog and cherishes spending quality time with family, traveling, skiing, and enjoying relaxing days on the lake.
At the forefront of Dr. Fankhauser’s mind when treating all patients is a core belief imparted to her during her training at Mayo Clinic, that “the best interest of the patient is the only interest to be considered.”
